The CHIETA Discretionary Grant is available for employers/enterprises within the chemical sector and is aimed at addressing sector needs as identified in the CHIETA Sector Skills Plan. It supports the DHET Strategic Plan, ERRP and the priorities set out in the National Skills Development Plan 2030. CHIETA hereby invites applications from chemical sector employers and enterprises to apply for the 2025-2026 Cycle 3 Discretionary Grants to support its Annual Performance Plan.
The application window will only be open for a duration of one month. As per the CHIETA Funding Policy, all grant applications for this cycle must be for training implemented in 2025/26 financial year.
WHO CAN APPLY?
- Chemical sector companies who are eligible and have submitted the ATR-WSP to the CHIETA.
- Non-levy paying companies, CHIETA accredited training providers, SMME’s, CBO’s CBC’s, NPO’s, NGO’s and Co-Ops that are within the chemical sector are encouraged to apply.
- Government institutions, Municipalities, TVET Colleges and Higher Education Institutions.
