Warm greetings from the CIEBS Africa Corporate Innovation Lounge (School). The purpose of the School is to integrate and capacitate learners and teams in Africa from all types of organisations including SMMEs on Innovation as an emergent practice. In particular, the navigation of Risk & Uncertainty of our Business Ideas.
Congratulations and Sincere Appreciation for completing the requisite acceptance and onboarding forms as per CHIETA from various provinces on a custom designed programme named: CHIETA SMME Entrepreneurs Innovating for Impact in Africa. This can be viewed as an Occupationally Directed Programme for those that choose Entrepreneurship as their L-Earning journey
The programme will run virtually for a period of 8 months approximately 16 contact sessions using the Zoom Platform that will be a combination of Real-time Lectures and Coaching Sessions. The Unit of Analysis for Innovation is the Team and not just the Individual and therefore in this regard you will be put into one of 5 Teams during the Launch Session
An Entrepreneurs Journey is both challenging and Exciting at the same time and we look forward to your active participation and commitment on this Custom programme focusing on Innovating for Impact. This means finding and adapting a Problem worth Solving (Our Value Proposition) and Searching for the Business Model to Create and Deliver the Value Proposition to our chosen Customer Segments. You will be introduced to a common language, set of frameworks, tools, methods, and Scorecard to measure your Progress & Success on this L-Earning Journey

For ease of virtual delivery sessions and facilitated coaching sessions please:
- Finding a space with backup power source for your laptop / tablet, mobile devices
- Load the Zoom App on your device
- Find a space with fixed line and mobile connectivity (Fibre to home/office , 3G, 4G mobile connectivity) Mobile is expensive so fixed line to home/office is preferable
