Dear Valued Stakeholders
The Mandatory Grants WSP / ATR System open will open on the 14th February 2025 and will close on the 30th April 2024 at 00:00 (midnight). The guideline document which outlines the entire submissions process is available for download from the Mandatory Grants (MG) online system which may be accessed through the CHIETA website: www.chieta.org.za
As per the CHIETA defined process, all completed training must be reported for 1 January 2024 to 31st December 2024 and all planned training must be recorded for 1 January 2025 to 31st December 2025. This must be done in the Annual Training Report (ATR) and the Workplace Skills Plan (WSP) sections respectively.
Please remember to submit the proof of a company’s banking details if it has changed since the last submission made in 2024. Proof of the company’s banking details must be in the form of an original stamped bank letter not older than 3 months.
Kindly note that CHIETA will accept applications for extensions on the MG system from 22 April 2025 to 29 April 2025. This will then generate a hardcopy for sign off, to be emailed to the respective CHIETA Regional Offices by no later than 29 April 2025, 15:00. Extensions are not guaranteed, and approval is at the discretion of the CHIETA Governing Board. Any request for extension past the date indicated above, will not be considered. Applications for extensions will not be considered for missed or forgotten deadlines, having other priorities as well as signatories being out of the country. Planning must be done in accordance with the communicated due date.
