Achiever nominations: deadline approaches!

2016 has seen great change in terms of the economic, political and sporting world. These changes and disruptions make it particularly important to recognise top achievers in such a momentous year. The 2016 Achiever Awards are fast approaching, and the prestigious evening will recognise the exceptional contributions to skills development and training in South Africa. The Awards are an integral part of the FP&M Seta Skills Development Summit, which takes place at the CSIR ICC in Pretoria on 25-26 August. The Summit showcases and honours excellence and commitment to skills development across a broad swathe of the South African economy and industries. The achievements of companies, government departments and organisations of all sizes will be honoured at the Awards ceremony. The Awards recognise organisations who have enhanced their employees’ skills bases by implementing innovative and effective skills development and training programmes. You’ve done the hard work in innovating, planning and implementing your training programmes. You’ve knuckled down to make them effective and you’ve stretched yourself mentally to create innovative solutions and methods to pass this learning on to your staff. Now is the time to stand up and get recognised for your efforts as well as to honour your training teams and your staff. To nominate an organisation for an Achiever Award, visit http://www.skillssummit.co.za/nominations and complete the online application form.
