The Chemical Industries Education & Training Authority (CHIETA) is a statutory body that was established by The Skills Development Act 97 of 1998. Our purpose as a SETA is to facilitate skills development in the chemical industries sector and to ensure that skills needs are identified and addressed through a number of initiatives by the SETA and the sector.

Dear Valued Stakeholder,

We are fast approaching the “Very Final deadline”, of this grace period for submitting the Learning Programme Agreements(Contracted-Trade and Non-Trade) or the ARPL related Trade Test Applications (Non-contracted) at the CHIETA’s ETQA UNIT for THE FINAL ENROLMENT of learners/Candidates on the Historically Registered Qualifications. Therefore, the CHIETA wanted to remind you that the due date is:

  • 21 June 2024 @16:30 for Direct Physical Submissions at the CHIETA Head Office situated at 72 New Road, Glen Austin AH (Grand Central, Midrand, 1685
  • 21 June 2024 @23:59 for Electronic Submissions via the following email: etqaqueries@chieta.org.za
